I Believe creativity is problem solving, not through what is often logical, but through empathy driven by human emotion. Humans are not logical. It is a thrilling game of figuring out how to communicate to a certain audience so they feel included, invited to participate and engaged in a way that feels authentic. While standing out, rather than blending in.

I have exercised this idea throughout my ten-year career in Finnish agencies, working across a wide range of clients from telco and beer to retail products, in both B2B and B2C. Along the way, I have won several awards and brought both fame and fortune to my clients. And the three F’s are something I believe in. Fun draws people in, Fame makes the idea spread and Fortune creates value for the client. If a concept delivers all three, the work usually earns its place.

One of my guiding principles is strong team collaboration. Creativity is a team sport, and we should apply the same empathy toward our clients and stakeholders. What are their biases and agendas, and how can we help them navigate their organisation and its goals?

Tools can be learned, but the attitude of can do and the curisioty is a state of mind. It is a muscle that everyone is born with, but I among other talented creatives has choose to train it on daily basis.

So if you are looking for a Swiss Army knife and a strong generalist who is excited to learn something new every day, who arrives at work a little dumb and leaves a little wiser, I am your guy. Stay humble, work hard, stay curious and make good things happen.
